This year we will be negotiating a new employee contract for our union here at University of Maryland. This contract covers all aspect of our work life including our wages, benefits and working conditions. Our union contract has specific rules that the university has to follow to make sure that we are treated with dignity and respect, and that we can work safely. We make sure these rules are upheld.
