Maine DSA x Todd Chretien for Portland City Council, D5
Maine DSA is helping Todd Chretien win his election for Portland City Council, District 5 and we want you to join us! It is crucial that DSA continues to hold this seat after Kate Sykes' term ends so we can continue to pass good policy and create a city for all of us. Whether it's your first time showing up to a campaign or your hundredth - we want you to join us!
Todd’s commitment to the task of building a working class movement is real and evident, based on his work in labor, as a former co-chair of the chapter, as well as his involvement in the anti-ICE response. His shared theory of change and dedication to socialism – a term he does not run from – in Maine exemplifies the types of candidates that DSA looks for – ones that aim to grow our organization with a long-term vision in mind. As a union public school teacher and a farmer, we see a candidate that will drive excitement and turnout in his coalition of support for this race. In short, Maine DSA is excited to help Todd win!
