Meeting the Midterms Moment: Solidarity Phonebanks
The Midterm elections are a critical stepping stone for the movement Left and our project. Whether voters choose left and progressive candidates will determine how much we're able to wrest control of our federal government out of the hands of the authoritarian far right and set ourselves on a path of reconstruction. Our assessment is that the success of US Senate Candidates Angie Nixon in Florida and Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan are especially important.
As socialist organizers, we don't just sit passively by, letting history happen to us. We do the work to make material change happen in our world.
If you feel called to meet the moment, join fellow socialist organizers for solidarity phonebanks for Angie Nixon in Florida and Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan. We have a few opportunities to gather with other comrades and plug into their campaign efforts as part of a GOTV effort to help lay the track for an AOC Presidential Run. We'll be on our own separate Zoom to you can connect specifically with other DSA4AOCers while supporting these campaigns.
There are a few events involving some special guests we'll add once details firm up.
