MORE BIG NEWS!
What a week! There is another important hearing for sexual and reproductive health access. Representative Tara Peters’ (R - 122) HB 2370 Annual Supply of Contraception has been scheduled for a hearing in the Health and Mental Health Committee this Thursday, April 2nd! We need your voice to help get it across the finish line.
This legislation would ensure people can acquire a yearlong supply of birth control in one visit, which increases access and ensures no gaps in use. This bill has almost passed multiple times. Last year, it was passed in an amended version that expanded access to generics for 6 months. That was a big step! But now we need to expand that access to align with the CDC and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommendation: a full year, generics and brand-name. We must pass the original version as intended. No one should face barriers accessing contraception because of where they live or the type of insurance they have.

End with a reminder of how you want them to vote: “Please vote YES”.

In solidarity,
