More In Common - Harrogate 'Great Get Together' Event

A ‘More In Common’ Group in Harrogate was launched on 12th April and is part of the Jo Cox Foundation ‘More In Common’ Network.

One of the key objectives in 2025 for the More In Common - Harrogate group is to organise a ‘Great Get Together’ as part of the Foundation's UK-wide annual celebration of socially connected and resilient communities. The Harrogate Group organisers are inspired by Jo Cox’s belief that 'we have more in common than that which divides us.'

The Great Get Together event in Harrogate on June 20–22 will be open to all and will:

  • Bring people from all backgrounds in the community together

  • Celebrate what we have in common

  • Promote mutual understanding and respect

  • Build a stronger community where everyone has a sense of identity and belonging
