NCTDSA Reading Group: 100 Years War on Palestine

Note: this is a joint zoom/in-person series. You can attend in-person or on zoom. Each group will have its own facilitator and discussion circle! All participants will receive a zoom link after RSVPing for the specific event.

Join Triangle DSA's Political Education Committee in a reading of Rashid Khalidi's book The Hundred Years War on Palestine: A History of Settler Colonialism and Resistance! This book is a contemporary account of Palestinian struggle, Zionism's colonial project, and the role of western imperialist powers. Throughout this history, Khalidi also includes his own family's personal experiences and stories. Combining the personal with the historical, this book is a fantastic introductory text for anyone looking to better understand Palestine.

Our reading group will meet every two weeks on Thursday at 6:30pm to discuss the reading together. Attendees are expected to complete the assigned section beforehand. However, if you're not able to get to it or finish, you should still attend! The discussion is designed to be open to all participants.
