Did you know that the data centre being planned in South Norwich will use enough energy to power almost 500,000 homes?! That’s around seven times the number of homes in the whole of Norwich.

All this and it’s only expected to create only 100–150 local jobs, alongside some road improvements. The local Green Party stands in absolute opposition to this! We just don’t believe these benefits justify the costs.

Anyone can make a planning objection to South Norfolk Council and it's the best way to get your voice heardwhen the planning application is submitted. Don't worry we'll send you an email at the time and guide you through the process so it's easy to make an impactfull objection!

Let's send a clear message that developments of this scale must deliver genuine lasting benefits, not only for our local community, but for ordinary people across the entire country.
