Under current law, public workers who engage in ANY work stoppage risk consequences up to and including union decertification. In this moment where our public services are under attack, our public sector workers are the BEST situated to fight for them. Without the right to strike, we can’t fight for much.

Maryland Right to Strike is a coalition of unionists, public workers, and members of the public who rely on the services these folks provide us every day. We demand an end to the ban on public-sector strikes imposed by our state legislators. Without quality public services, we ALL suffer. We know we all stand to win when public workers have what they need to do their jobs well, and the tools to fight for us when they don't.

When we fight for public workers, we fight for the public good. When we fight for the public good, we build a better world for us all to live in.
