Save Fearing Hill from a disastrous solar project

Fearing Hill sits above the Weweantic River and above the wells that families in this town drink from. Clearing roughly twenty acres of Pine Barrens forest on that ridge puts our drinking water, our wetlands, and our wildlife at risk - and once that forest is gone, it does not come back.

We support renewable energy. We do not accept that it has to be built by clearing the last intact woods we have. There are rooftops, parking lots, and already-disturbed land in this state that should come first.

Our state's renewable energy policies should be changed to reflect both a shift toward renewable energy AND preservation of our precious natural resources.
