Shock Poll Delivery Action Weekend: Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April

Let's get Jack Eade elected in Heavitree and Whipton Barton!
Note: if possible please bring a bike
Heavitree & Whipton Barton is one of our key target seats for the upcoming County Council elections, and is as tight as you can get. The Greens are coming in strong with two sitting City Councillors in Heavitree and a strong base of support, but Labour are the incumbents and are fielding a high-profile City Councillor as their candidate. If we want to make Jack Heavitree & Whipton Barton's first ever Green County Councillor, we need to push hard!
Our Exeter Action Days are a great way to get out and make a difference.
We need one final piece of election literature to convince people in Heavitree and Whipton Barton to vote Green. This leaflet will be an extra push to remind people what is at stake, and just how close the race really is. We'll be delivering this across the entire division.
Here's our plan for the weekend (timings may be subject to change):
Saturday 26th
10:00 - Meet at the intersection of Hill Barton Lane and Leypark Rd for a quick briefing, pep talk and photos with Heavitree & Whipton Barton Division Organiser Jonah Corren.
10:15 - 12:15 - The group will split up for leafleting the rounds around Whipton Barton: there will be the option to take rounds individually, or to do so as pairs. Nearby rounds will be allocated to those on-foot: those with bikes will be allocated rounds elsewhere in the Division.
12:15 - 13:15 - Lunch (option to meet at Parklife Café in Heavitree)
13:30 - 18:00 - The group will meet again at the intersection of Hill Barton Lane and Leypark Rd, before splitting again for leafleting more rounds in the Whipton area.
18:15 - 20:00 - Volunteers after-party at the Ship and Pelican, Heavitree's finest local establishment (optional)
Sunday 27th
During the day, we will be canvassing with Thomas Richardson in St Sidwell's & St James'. This action day will also feature a special guest canvasser: Green Party Deputy Leader Zack Polanski! You can find more details about the day here (hyperlinked).
Following the canvassing there will be a leafleting blitz in Heavitree to try to cover as much ground as we can. We'll be meeting at Parklife Café at 16:30.
