Stop the Chehalis River Dam

Take action now! Stop the dangerous dam on the Chehalis River.

Safeguarding Chehalis salmon and river habitat is essential for our future. We can do better to protect our community from flooding than building a dam with a long list of impacts that cannot be mitigated, including the near-certain extinction of some salmon runs. The cost to build the dam is too high, not only in dollars, but in environmental, economic, and cultural impacts.

Please take a stand for the Chehalis River and send in a letter to the Washington Deptartment of Ecology now.

To make your letter stronger feel free to add in your own personal message about how you are connected to the Chehalis River watershed and why not building this dam means so much to you.

Public comment closes on Thursday, February 4th – Please take action today!
