Feminist Summer 2024 Voter Registration Program!
Are you ready to make a bold impact this summer? Women's March Foundation is launching an electrifying voter registration program, "Feminists Vote / Las Feministas Votan," and we need passionate interns to help drive change across Los Angeles County. Our mission is clear: empower youth and amplify Latino voices in the upcoming elections.
What You'll Do:
- Engage and Empower: Register new voters at the hottest concerts, vibrant festivals, and dynamic cultural events.
- Youth Focus: Channel your energy to connect with young voters and inspire them to make their voices heard.
- Community Impact: Be at the forefront of change, ensuring Latino communities are represented and empowered.
- Evening Events: Note that concerts are evening events, perfect for reaching vibrant, energetic crowds.
Requirements:
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to carry 15-20lbs and stand for 2-4 hours daily.
- Training: Complete our comprehensive training in Boyle Heights to become a registration pro.
- Communication Skills: Comfortable speaking with the Latino public about the importance of voting.
- Reliable Transportation: Ensure you can get to various venues across the county.
What We Provide:
- Training: All the knowledge and skills you need to be effective.
- Materials: Everything required to register voters and spread the word.
- Team Support: You will always be teamed up with 2 or 3 people in your voting squad.
