  • Urge them to cosponsor the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act (H.R.1061/S.455) which aims to reform immigration practices by codifying restrictions at designated locations, such as medical facilities, houses of worship, and schools-- specifically by prohibiting enforcement without prior authorization and only in rare cases.

Don’t let the name fool you; the SAVE America Act is a bad voter suppression bill that is part of the Administration’s broader push to give the federal government control over elections--and prevent eligible Americans from voting. And it’s not all they are trying. Other attempts they have planned include ceding control to Republicans to run elections in 15 key states, giving the Department of Homeland Security more access to private voter data, and exposing election workers to the threat of criminal and civil penalties, including jail time.
