Politicians haven’t delivered for Sydney.

Rents are sky high, transport and cost of living are just getting worse. Instead of taking steps to fix this, Instead of housing affordability, they want to give more handouts to wealthy investors, instead of public transport they’re building toll roads, and instead of investment in the people of NSW, they’re blaming immigration for Sydney's problems.

They’re trying to manipulate us into thinking we have something to fear from our friends and neighbours. The Government's policy agenda this election is fear and hate and they think they can manipulate us into falling for it. While they try and scare us into voting for them, they continue to cut funding to keep Newstart at record lows and they give the green light to tax-dodging business like Adani.

We won’t let politicians continue to take us for granted, we deserve a Sydney that works and that means politicians investing in the public, not pouring money into private roads and blaming immigration for their own mistakes.

Now more than ever, we need to ensure that racism has no public licence. That hate speech is not tolerated, and that any politician that tries to capitalise on fear and hate will see consequences at the ballot box.

We have a plan to prove that we are #StrongerThanFear and that Australians will no longer tolerate hate speech and divisive tactics that demonise one group of Australians to win votes.
