Do you want to help mobilize your community around the People’s Climate March? Get involved in planning a Sister March? Organize people to get on buses to DC?
Do you want to help create and paint banners, posters, and flags that share your community’s stories, struggles and solutions for a better tomorrow?
From now until April 29th, communities will come together to plan, share stories, and make art for the People's Climate March in Washington D.C. on April 29th.
From April 8-16, plug in to a local art or organizing event for the People’s Climate March to add voice to the mix and help make the 29th a success.
Put in your zip code to find an event near you. If there's not an event near you, consider hosting one! (We'll be sharing a toolkit with all you need to know to host an event). Click "Host an event for this event campaign" to get started.
Events will vary depending on where you're located and what's being planned in your community. By joining an art build or outreach event near you, you'll get plugged in to the work happening in your city around the Peoples Climate March.
Reminder: We hope you can make it to Washington D.C. for the central march to directly confront and challenge the Trump administration's climate denial (especially if you are within a 10 hr drive). If you can’t make it to D.C., there are also sister marches happening across the country, and we encourage you to join one in your city.
Note: If you want to get more involved in art builds, but don't know where to start with the process, visit http://arts.peoplesclimate.org/
