On Thursday, September 27, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about her attempted rape. Women, femmes, and allies in 30 states held solidarity actions at their Senators’ offices to speak out, deliver letters, and issue a demand to #BelieveSurvivors and #CancelKavanaugh.
On Friday, September 28, we're keeping the momentum going:
Find a rapid response action near you here. If you don’t see one listed in your area, create your own!
Wear black, and bring signs saying #BelieveSurvivors and #CancelKavanaugh. You may also want to bring a letter asking your Senator to vote NO on Kavanaugh. We’ve written a sample letter that you can print out and deliver, or you can write your own!
Circle up, take and post photos using the hashtags, and most importantly, tell Senate staff why you are there.
We recommend actions be hosted at 12:00pm local time. Show up, keep demanding justice for survivors. Your Senator needs to knows that you, like millions of women, femmes, and allies, #BelieveChristine, #BelieveSurvivors, and won't stand for another sexual predator on the court.
