Come support Blue Bottle Baristas at our Solidarity Sip-In!

As we approach one year of fighting for living wages, harassment protections, scheduling security, and workplace democracy. Blue Bottle has made it clear that they will claim arbitrary and philosophically dubious “management’s rights” over everything unless we increase our pressure.

Blue Bottle's continued unfair labor practices—both at the bargaining table and in our workplaces—show they won’t negotiate in good faith without facing real consequences. It’s time we seriously discuss what stronger action looks like when an employer refuses to bargain fairly and continues violating our rights.

We are asking for unionists and other community supporters to join our unionized location in a sip-in to demonstrate that we are able to not only mobilize our coworkers to take action, but community support as well!

Please show up to any unionized Blue Bottle location on September 19 from 12pm EST to 3pm EST and:

1. Wear a BBIU pin or shirt

2. Tip your barista! (If you don't want to order anything, tip in cash)

3. Order your drinks using the names "Union strong" or "Solidarity"
