Since August, comrades have been showing up weekly for mutual aid and immigration defense by joining the Circle of Protection outside the Miramar ICE ERO facility. This presence matters. It reminds people reporting for check-ins that they are not alone.

ICE check-in appointments continue to happen weekly, and people are regularly required to report early in the morning. We are extending the ask to DSA members to help maintain a consistent, welcoming presence for those navigating this process.

Time: Wednesdays, 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM (don't have to stay the entire time - even coming for an hour helps)

This is quiet but powerful solidarity work: being present and reminding people they are not facing the system alone.
