Join Triangle DSA for our introduction to Marxism! We will be covering the whole series virtually over three Sundays in May, 12:00 - 3:00 pm: May 10, May 17, May 31.

Readings and study guides can be found here. All participants will receive a zoom link after RSVPing.

This curriculum will provide all chapter members a baseline understanding of Marxism. We’ll cover the basics of Marxist political economy and praxis. The purpose of the curriculum is to enable all our members to begin to feel comfortable engaging in robust and informed political dialogue with their comrades in DSA as we work together to build the working class movement that will achieve socialism.

This first session will begin our discussion of Marxist political economy by delving into the Labor Theory of Value and Marx’s theory of class, profit, and exploitation.

This session covers the material we usually cover in the first three sessions of the course: introduction, the Labor Theory of Value, and class, profit, and exploitation.
