QCDSA Stop Buying Starbucks Action (12/6)

Starbucks has had four years to negotiate a fair union contract and resolve outstanding unfair labor practices. Instead, they’ve closed union stores, fired union leaders, and dragged their feet in bargaining while making record profits. Reaching a fair deal would cost Starbucks less than one day of sales, but the company would rather spend millions on union-busting and lavish management conferences than pay its workers a living wage.

The Don't Buy Starbucks action is easy:

• Show up and connect. Stand outside non-union stores and have friendly 1:1 conversations with customers about why union baristas are on ULP strike.

• Share a leaflet. Hand out a 1/4 sheet flyer with key info so people can take it with them and learn more.

• Bring your energy. Signs, coffee alternatives, or small baked treats make the space welcoming and visible.

• Go together. Coming with friends makes the action more fun and impactful.

• Bring good vibes. Focus on sharing information and listening in a positive way, not making people feel guilty.

• Center solidarity. Every conversation and handout is a chance to build support for baristas through connection and community.
