Beginner and experienced skaters will have an opportunity to learn the basics of skateboarding and safety or additional tricks from skilled, local skaters. All participants are welcome regardless of skill level, although skaters should have experience standing and rolling on a skateboard. Skaters will be grouped by skill level and paired with the appropriate instructor.

These are general descriptions of the skill level for each division. Tricks may include but are not limited to those listed. The description is only a guide to help determine which division to sign up for.

Beginner:
Experience 0-2 Years
Skills: basic maneuver skills including balance, pushing, stopping and turning.

Intermediate:
Experience 3-4 Years
Tricks: Ollie, Kickflip, Pop Shuv-it, Grind, Flow.

Advanced:
Experience 5+ Years
Tricks: Ollie, Kickflip, Pop Shuv-it, Grind, Flow etc.

Pre-Registration
Skaters wishing to participate in the skate clinic are asked to pre-register online or at Subsect Skate shop. Fill out the short application below, including which division you wish to participate in.

All applicants will be required to submit a signed waiver in order to be eligible to participate in any event. A parent’s signature will be required on the waiver for any registrant under 18. Online pre-registration will conclude on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at midnight. You will be emailed a waiver after your registration is confirmed.

Registration
Skaters will also have the option of registering on the day of the event beginning at 8:30am. Skaters who register day of will be required to complete the same application and waiver as the pre-registrants.

NOTE: A parent’s signature is required on the waiver for any registrant under 18. Parents must be present at the time of competition for any registrant under age 12.

HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THIS CLINIC
