This is a weekly session on Tuesdays at 8 pm EST / 5 pm PST for organizers interested in practicing their Spanish/English language skills. Everyone is welcome no matter what organization you're a member of! We'll go into breakout rooms to practice with other people then come together to debrief.

Our goal is to build enough proficiency and confidence in each participant to have simple conversations in Spanish. If it's your first time please arrive ten minutes early to hear the instructions! Make sure to review the scripts and vocabulary lists to prepare in advance. If you are unsure of what level you fall under, take a look at the explanations bellow:

Beginner - Read a script out loud in your target language of the sort of conversation you would have at the door while canvassing.

Intermediate - Use a list of questions to improvise an organizing conversation in your target language.

Advanced - Take turns reading an article out loud and then discuss it in your target language.

Mentor - If you are bilingual you can help participants of either language practice their target language depending on how many people we get for each one.

Teacher - You're a Spanish teacher or tutor who speaks Spanish and can explain the finer points of Spanish grammar. You can help advanced participants improve their language.

Esta es una sesión semanal que se lleva a cabo los martes a las 8:00 p. m. EST / 5:00 p. m. PST para organizadores interesados en practicar su ingles o español. Todos son bienvenidos, sin importar de que organización eres parte!

Nuestro objetivo es desarrollar la suficiente competencia y confianza en cada participante para tener conversaciones basicas en ingles. Consulta nuestros guiones y listas de vocabulario para prepararte con anticipación. Si no estás seguro de en qué nivel te encuentras, consulta las explicaciones a continuación:

Principiante - lee un guion en voz alta en tu idioma de destino sobre el tipo de conversación que tendrías en la puerta mientras haces sondeo.

Intermedio - usa una lista de preguntas para improvisar una conversación de organización en tu idioma de destino.

Avanzado - lee un artículo en voz alta por turnos y luego coméntalo en tu idioma de destino.

Mentor - si eres bilingüe, puedes ayudar a los participantes de cualquiera de los dos idiomas a practicar su lengua meta, dependiendo de cuántas personas consigamos para cada uno.

Profesor - eres un profesor o tutor de español que habla español y puede explicar los puntos más finos de la gramática española. Puedes ayudar a los participantes avanzados a mejorar su idioma.
