Join the Academy for Leaderful Action (ALA)!

The ALA is a training for donors (at any level of giving) to learn more about donor organizing and strategies to fight harmful systems of punishment and policing.

This series is a community space and political-analysis building opportunity for folks interested in deepening their understanding of EBC’s core values and strategy, truth and reinvestment, and how everyone can play a role in the fight for liberation. Together we will explore tools to engage in donor organizing so we can collectively expand resources for the movement against prisons and towards community support.

Please make sure you can attend all sessions. Recordings may not be available for all workshops.

We will hold 6 virtual sessions weekly on Tuesday from 5:15-7:45 PM from April 15th-May 20th:

April 15: Introductions
April 22: Resource Organizing 101
April 29: History and Mission of the Ella Baker Center
May 6: Intro to the Prison Industrial Complex
May 13: Storytelling
May 20: Graduation! And projects!

Sliding scale: $2-2,500 for the course.
