The Housing Justice Commission is proud to announce that our Spring Emergency Tenant Organizing Committee cohort is now accepting RSVPs from prospective tenant organizers. ETOC is an initiative of the Democratic Socialists of America to promote the formation of militant tenant unions through tenant-to-tenant training and instruction.

This ETOC cohort will teach you the fundamentals of tenant organizing over a series of 4 meetings beginning on May 9th. Cohort instruction will focus on giving you the skills to develop new tenant unions that will organize tenants on a citywide or regional scale; we encourage you to invite others you intend to organize a tenant union with to the cohort.

The full schedule for the cohort is included below - we strongly encourage you to plan to attend all four sessions. Each meeting will last around 2 hours. All meetings will be held via Zoom - the Zoom link will be emailed to you upon RSVP.

3. Saturday, May 23 - 11 am PT / 2 pm ET - Building Campaigns II
4. Saturday, May 30 - 11 am PT / 2 pm ET - From Organizing Committee to Mass Organization
