Growing the Greens in Gloucestershire
With the upcoming elections to the new unitary council next May, this event is aimed at giving people who are both curious and want to be considered to stand as a candidate in the May 2027 elections to the shadow authority.

The event is open to anyone, whether you’ve stood for election before or not. We’ll explain what it means to be a candidate, and there'll be a chance to find out more about the role, what it will entail in getting elected and then what being a Green Party councillor on the new unitary authority will be like. People wanting/thinking of standing even if they have stood before are also welcome.

We know that not everyone who wants to stand can make this date, so we WILL be running another session, so if you’re interested, please sign-up, say that you can’t make the date, and we’ll be in touch about arranging a second session.
