Continuation from the first Peoples' Assembly. Everyone is welcome.

Please check our events calendar for essential training in facilitation and nonviolent communication if you wish to attend these assemblies as a small-group guide or de-escalator (not as an attendee who voices their concerns).

The questions asked at the assemblies will be:
"What would you like to improve about where you live?" and "What ideas would you like your green councillor to share with the council that might help?"

2nd of 3 Peoples' Assemblies, essential in deliberative democracy and for truly being heard on what issues affect you in your city.

Expect your three Green Councillors, Kemal ÇUFOĞLU, Mark GOACHER, and Amy KIRKBY-TAYLOR. Connect with your neighbours. Discuss what matters most to you, and work together to develop solutions. The final assembly will involve producing motions for your councillors to present to our councils. Together, the people of Colchester will work with our councillors to support decision-making to make our city a healthier place to live.

We are stronger when we are together.

Everyone is welcome: regardless of political stance, everyone has an opinion about how their town works. Please share with a friend to show them their voice is heard in the Green Party.

We look forward to seeing you and your Colchester-based friends and family there.

1:30 - 2 pm: settle in and refreshments.

2 pm: prompt assembly start, hosted by Alison Seddon.

Attendees after 2 pm will not be able to participate in the structured discussions, but are welcome to observe and interact with everyone during the comfort break at 4 pm.

Refreshments provided. Maximum capacity of 50 attendees to ensure we have enough NVC's and SGG's available.

No ramp, but people have accessed on mobility scooters and wheelchairs through the main entrance. A disabled toilet is available.
