19 Oct - 25 Oct marks this year’s National Week of Solidarity to End Immigration Detention. The harm of immigration detention reaches far beyond the detention centre walls, affecting people, families and communities across the country. We are asking people to organise in their communities, and to be a part of our regional events.

This event is open to the community, and we encourage attendance from people with lived-experience of the immigration system and those providing mutual aid in communities. The event will be an opportunity to hold space, share knowledge and experiences, and build solidarity and connections.

We will aim to include:

• Right to Remain mini-workshop on Building Collective Safety against Immigration Enforcement

• Panel discussion with lived-experience campaigners and messages of solidarity

• Time to reflect, connect, create, eat

This is an in-person event in central Birmingham starting at 10am and running until 1pm. Please share the event information with your networks, and sign up to receive more details nearer the date.
