Last summer we held the inaugural Minneapolis Solidarity Festival. We’re excited to be back again!

A common theme at the 3rd Precinct listening sessions this spring was that the City of Minneapolis is once again failing to listen to residents on public safety. We don’t want to build a new police station–we want to transform how we keep our neighbors safe so we don’t need to build police stations in the first place. It's clear the City of Minneapolis’ leadership has no plan for keeping residents safe nor any plan to make a plan.

Every single person in Minneapolis deserves to be safe, no matter where they live or who they are. That’s clearly not happening currently. But we know our communities have been talking and thinking and building ways to keep us safe. We're bringing people together to create a vision for what public safety could look like in Minneapolis.
