Practicing Democracy: Organizing for Justice Workshop
3-day professional development opportunity in collaboration with Michigan Transformation Collective to bring Midwest Academy to Southwest Michigan

Dates: Thursday, March 5th, Friday, March 6th and Saturday, March 7th
Time: March 5th and March 6th from 10am to 4:30pm and March 7th 10am to 3pm
* Participants must attend all three days

Community organizing training for emerging organizers, nonprofit staff, educators, and community leaders. Over the course of three days, you will learn how to:

• Develop strategic campaigns based on deep power analysis
• Inject a racial justice & root cause analysis into your organizing
• Understand how to be more effective in your outreach and recruitment
• Reflect on your practice
