350 New Caledonia plans to center their campaign around highlighting the local efforts made by the island of Lifou, its chiefs and its people in its current plan to achieve full transition to renewable energy for the whole island by year 2020. A partnership has been developed between 350 New Caledonia and local dance company « Wetr Création » from the island of Lifou to go around the island, collecting signatures and building digital content — video and photo. Some of the content created will go online on the 350 Pacific social media platforms when 350 Nouvelle-Calédonie takes over in August. A human kikonang sign is planned for the shores of Lifou island on the day of action.
