Join us! May 17th and May 18th, 2025

In this time of climate chaos, human rights crisis, and environmental injustice it is more

important than ever that we gather in ceremony, strategy, and action. The Fourth Convening of

the Four Winds, to be held at the Old Ponca Agency Grounds in Niobrara Nebraska, embodies

this spirit.

Co-hosted by the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska, The Ponca PaThaTa, and Movement

Rights, we invite you to join this two-day gathering of relatives, allies, activists, wisdom keepers,

and change makers as we organize around Rights of Nature, Rights of Rivers, Tribal

Sovereignty, and Environmental Justice.

We will participate in the planting of the Sacred Ponca Corn, we will share Water and physical

and spiritual nourishment. We will attend panels, workshops, and breakout sessions designed

to shift the Western colonial thought processes around “Land Ownership” and “Natural

Resources” towards the inherent Indigenous Peoples' cosmology and relationship with the

Earth. We will leave this gathering as a more powerful force of grassroots Pro-activists and

allies of Mother Earth.
