Hosting a house meeting is one of the most important things you can do to save free school lunch! We have lots of folks who want to take action but they need a place to come together. At the meeting, you'll learn more about the issue, and make a plan together to ask a local elected official to speak out with us. When we get our local leaders speak up, they can change national policies–and we can get them to do it to #SaveSchoolLunch. You don’t need to be an expert! We’ll tell you everything you need to know. You should plan to invite folks in your network - but we’ll also invite folks in your area (unless you mark your event "private”). If you have any questions, email snap@parents-together.org.
When you click "Okay!", you'll be taken to a page where you can register your own house meeting. Under "Title", consider giving your meeting a fun name! Then you'll be able to enter the time and location of your gathering (choose Oct. 19 or 20). Beneath that is the description folks will see when they go to sign up–you can leave it as is, or personalize it.
Once you've done those things, scroll down to the bottom and click "Save Action and Create Account." The next step is to put in your own contact info. BE SURE TO KEEP GOING UNTIL YOU'VE CLICKED “Save and Publish” AND YOU SEE A MESSAGE THAT SAYS “Your event has been published! View your live event here”.
Go ahead sign up now! Thanks!!
