Let's Get Hannah Elected in Gorton & Denton 💚

A historic by-election is coming to Gorton & Denton, and we have a genuine chance to do something huge.

This could be the moment we elect Hannah Spencer as the Green Party’s 5th MP. And if she is elected here in Greater Manchester, it would mean the first ever northern green voice in Parliament.

But it won’t happen by accident.

We’ll only win if we do what Greens do best: move early, move fast, and build momentum from day one.

Reform will throw serious money at this campaign, and we all know they’ll be loud about it.
What they don’t have is... YOU!

And it’s not just Reform. Labour are now one of the most unpopular governments in modern times and people are looking for something better. Across the country, Greens are growing fast with new members, more energy, and credible, bold politics that actually improves people’s lives.

That’s why winning a Northern MP matters – another strong Green voice alongside the brilliant team we already have in Westminster would be a game changer.

So we’re calling Greens from across Greater Manchester (and beyond) to join us for a Big Green Action Day, as we get ahead of the other parties and kick off this campaign properly.

The immediate goal is simple:
Deliver 40,000 leaflets and speak to as many voters as we can.

Whether you can deliver leaflets, knock a few doors, chat to voters, or help behind the scenes, there’s a role for you.

On the day

Arrive from 9:30am onwards

You'll be briefed and will head out in teams, delivering leaflets and knocking doors. If you’re new, don’t worry, we’ll make sure you’re paired up and supported.

Make sure you wear comfy shoes and bring a pen. Your phone charger or battery pack will also be handy, if you have one.

If you can drive, please tell us when you sign up. We’ll need help getting teams out to different parts of the constituency.
