Please join us for PG Abolition Working Group's first reading group! We will be reading "Are Prisons Obsolete" by Angela Davis over the course of three sessions. Originally published in 2003, Angela Davis’s “Are Prisons Obsolete” argues that prisons do not keep communities safe and that it is time to revisit how communities define safety outside of incarceration. Whether you’re a committed abolitionist or curious about prison abolition, this group is for you.
