Making the decision to have an abortion is half the battle, the healing process afterwards can take a toll on a person’s body. Join Denver DSA Soc Fem in putting together self care packages for folks in recovery after having an abortion Monday, June 30th from 6-8 PM in the Washington Street Community Center! Help support Healthy Futures Abortion Clinic, and folks with uteruses that need that support. Bring a friend, or make some there :)

Care package construction will include: Putting supplies (listed below) into bags, writing letters of support to care package recipients, filling and sewing heat packs (if attendance allows)

• Pads and tampons (especially overnight pads)
• Rice (for microwavable heat packs)
• Unworn socks
• Sealed, non-perishable snacks
• Journals and pens
• Scented Candles
• Small lotions
• Tea bags
• Baskets and bags to hold the materials
