This May we hope that Woking will send some Green councillors to the new West Surrey Unitary Council and we're campaigning hard to do so.

We need your help to do this.

On Saturday the 11th of April there will be an action day where we'll campaign as a big group. There will also be a local hustings that we're going to speak at. This hustings is currently the only debate being held in Woking for this year's set of local elections, so anyone who wants to hear us argue our case against the other parties has to come to it. Since the first campaigning session will overlap with the hustings there will only be leafletting to do then, however it will be slightly longer than the others. The afternoon campaigning sessions will be around 2 hours long (with a break for coffee and cake between them) and there will be leaflets to deliver and canvasing to do.

The hustings will be in Trinity Methodist Church, Brewery Road, Woking GU21 4LH and the doors open at 10:30. Paul will be around to start off the first round of leaflet deliveries but will be leaving around 10:20 to attend the hustings.

The start times for the campaigning sessions are 10:00, 1:30 and 4:30. Please indicate which sessions you will be attending. For anyone canvasing there will be a little training to do before going out to knock on doors. If you are taking part please try to arrive by foot or park in a nearby street as on street parking is very limited in this area.
