Join us on Saturday, 18 July and help us get a fantastic Green candidate elected to South Gloucestershire council in the upcoming Longwell Green district council by-election.

Our candidate, Rachael Ward, has lived in BS30 for a decade and volunteers locally supporting new mothers. She strongly believes in a fairer and greener world, and would put the health, safety and wellbeing of the community at the forefront of all decision-making. Her priorities include ensuring accessible green spaces, public footpaths and playgrounds, and improving road maintenance, traffic calming and bus links.

We'll be delivering leaflets around Longwell Green to inform local residents of Rachael's priorities and why she's the best choice to represent them. Whether you're a seasoned campaigner or it's your first time, do come along and help out. We'll work in pairs or groups and provide mapping support.

If you can, please bring a spatula or wooden spoon to use to push leaflets through letterboxes.
