De-escalation: Non-violent activists/rebels will encounter aggressive and escalatory people on the street during protests. They may have had a bad day, have to go somewhere quickly, struggle with dependency issues or simply (violently) disagree with us. In this workshop we are attempting to answer your questions about de-escalatory strategies for non-violent people and events. What are the skills and insights we need to assist people to ground themselves and reduce their distress, anger and frustration to avert explosive conflict?
Covid safety
Covid still hasn’t gone away so, if you’re coming to the Drill Hall, we are asking you to take a RAT test and to seriously consider wearing an N95-or-higher mask indoors. N95 masks and surgical masks, RATs and hand sanitiser will be available at the Welcome Table.
Let's keep each other safe to keep on rebelling for life.
