We Don't Ask. We Organize!

Lawmakers need to hear from the people who keep this state running, hard-working public servants, like YOU—not lobbyists, not CEOs, and certainly not the uber-wealthy special interests hiding behind the banners of the CBIA and the Yankee Institute.

This is your chance to speak face-to-face with lawmakers and remind them who keeps Connecticut running.

When we show up in force, lawmakers listen. When we stand together, we send a message they can’t ignore. Real change doesn’t happen from the sidelines — it happens when workers speak directly to the people in power.

Be there. Be powerful. Remind your legislators: "The real power lies with the workers—always has, always will."

Instructions:

1. Navigate to the Legislative Office Building, 300 Capitol Ave. Hartford, Connecticut, 06106.
2. Park in the Legislative Office Building Parking Garage, following the signs for guest parking (the first level is reserved for guests).
3. Enter the Legislative Office Building and look for your nearest AFSCME Union sibling or staff member, who will direct you toward the Capitol Building, via the concourse in the LOB.
4. We are gathering in Room #310 in the Capitol Building.
5. Get ready for a day of ACTION and SOLIDARITY.
