Our Legislative Advocacy Workshop is two intense hours of straight talk, pro-tips, and direct-from-the-capitol advice on how to build impactful, meaningful relationships with decisions makers from lawmakers, lobbyists, staffers, and seasoned advocates.
The agenda includes
- panel discussion with state Representative Evan Goyke; Jennifer Garner, Senator Tammy Baldwin's NE Regional Representative; and Savion Castro, Madison school board member and legislative staffer
- small group learning through real-life "legislative action scenarios" highlighting some of the situations our partners have encountered and how to deal with them
- action steps and guidance on building relationships virtually during the pandemic
- closing conversation with Senator Jeff Smith
