The results of the election have brought to millions of people across the country a great heaviness of spirit and tremendous level of concern about our future as a nation. Many people's lives are in danger, especially those who have been targeted throughout Donald Trump's election campaign including immigrants, all people of color, LGBT folk, disabled, and Jewish people.

We refuse to be defeated, and we are determined to move this country forward. Join us this Friday, November 11th at 6pm - 8pm as we discuss the results of the national and local elections, what we should learn from it, and how we can build unity, fight racism and bigotry, protect our immigrant communities and unions, and mobilize to create a force for the fundamental change that people are hungry for. If you would like to come early for snacks and community, the doors will be open at 5pm.

Special attention will be given to the international situation and the promotion of peace.

Our presenters will be:

Jarvis Tyner, chairperson of the NY District of the Communist Party USA

Joelle Fishman, Political Action Commission Chairperson of the Communist Party USA

Emile Schepers, International Secretary of the Communist Party USA.

This discussion will be held at Henry Winston Unity Hall, at 235 W. 23rd St, 7th floor. Buzz 07, or call 347.450.8303. If you would like to call-in to this event, please RSVP by emailing ny@cpusa.org with the subject "After the elections."

When radical unionist Joe Hill faced execution by the state of Utah, he wrote to Gurley Flynn, "Don't mourn, organize." This is precisely what we intend to do.

No one can take the future from us and we intend to win.

Join us.
