Join us on the evening of Thursday, Aug 6th, for the first event in Agents of Change, our training series on nonviolent direct action (NVDA)!

For the series kickoff, we'll gather to hear stories from Troublemakers and friends about their experiences participating in NVDA, for inspiration and grounding in why this work is important. Come and meet the organizers of the training series and start building community as a cohort with the other training participants.

Agents of Change will teach you how to plan safe, successful nonviolent direct actions (NVDAs) and build lasting organizing relationships. Across three webinars and an in-person Action Lab weekend, we'll cover NVDA strategy and history, protest safety and de-escalation, risk levels and action roles, and the somatic and psychological work of sustainable activism — closing out with a real action where we put it all together.

This kickoff serves two purposes: it is the first event in the series for people who are already registered AND it doubles as an info session for those who want to learn more before committing. All are welcome, bring a friend if you wish!
