Building a Massachusetts for Everyone

You’re invited to a special house party fundraiser in support of the Abundant Housing MA Independent Expenditure PAC (AHMA IEPAC), hosted by Ben Orenstein at his home in Somerville.

We’ll be joined by two distinguished guests who bring unique perspectives on housing, politics, and public leadership:

Professor Katherine Levine Einstein
Professor Einstein is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of Undergraduate Studies at Boston University, as well as the Associate Director at the Initiative on Cities. She is co-principal investigator of the Menino Survey of Mayors, a nationally recognized multi-year project capturing the perspectives of U.S. mayors on political and policy challenges. Professor Einstein is also the co-author of Neighborhood Defenders: Participatory Politics and America’s Housing Crisis (Cambridge University Press, 2019), a groundbreaking book examining how political inequality influences housing outcomes and perpetuates the crisis.

Senator William Brownsberger
Senator Brownsberger represents the Second Suffolk and Middlesex District in the Massachusetts State Senate, where he serves as Senate President Pro Tempore. He has been a leading voice for evidence-based policymaking and has championed efforts to improve housing affordability, expand transportation access, and strengthen democratic participation. Known for his thoughtful approach and accessibility, Senator Brownsberger maintains one of the most open and transparent legislative websites in the state, where he regularly engages with constituents on complex policy issues.

🌟 Fundraising Opportunity
Thanks to a generous supporter, the first $5,000 in contributions will be matched, doubling the impact of your gift. Together, we’re aiming to raise $10,000 to support pro-housing leadership and help shape the future of housing policy in Massachusetts.
