In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.
On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.
The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.
On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Check out nokings.org for more information.
Parking Information: Parking is available in the Colonie Center, or Windsor (Hannaford) Plaza (96 Wolf Road), Wolf Road Shoppers Park (145 Wolf Road), or among the various hotel parking lots along Wolf Road.
Signs, costumes and noisemakers are encouraged! Bring 5+ friends! ------ Donald Trump thinks himself a King. Enabled by his Republican minions in Congress and a Supreme Court that he believes is beholden to him, Donald Trump recently confided to the graduating class at West Point that, because of his narrow electoral win last November, he has been given “the right to do whatever he wants.” But the United States of America doesn’t have a King, and on June 14, the American people will remind Donald Trump that, in this Country, the President is beholden to the People. To celebrate No Kings Day here in the Capital Region, we will be building a Wall of Defiance, a human chain of citizens, neighbors, patriots and friends joining together in a show of open and forceful unity against Trump’s totalitarianism.
Bring 5+ friends.
We the People will gather on Wolf Road, between Central Avenue and Albany Shaker Road, beginning at 1:00 on Saturday, June 14 to declare that, in America, there are: No Thrones, No Crowns and No Kings!
