The authoritarian regime in Washington DC is trying to whitewash our past so they can control our future. The wannabe king wants to keep the promise of America only for wealthy, white men like him by disappearing Black and brown Americans, rolling back our civil rights and freedom to vote, and taking away birthright citizenship. The rights of others in our nation – women, the LGBTQ community, people with disabilities, immigrants, Native Americans, and multiple other communities – are also under assault by this autocratic kleptocracy.

But we can turn the tide.

It’s time for all who call this place home to take a stand against the corrupt, anti-democratic regime’s attacks on our country’s past, present, and future. While we boycott the regime’s un-American, whitewashed 250^th “circus”, we will come together to embrace all of America, all of our history, and commit to the work yet to be done to make this country a place where liberty and equality are for all.

Join Peoria 50501 and our many allies in the Greater Peoria area for the “All of U.S. 250 March & Rally”, set for Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 2:30pm to 4:00pm, at Peoria Stadium, 315 E War Memorial Dr, Peoria, IL 61614. We’ll have signs and banners galore along the march route, reflecting the spirit of the event. Bring your own signs, your voices, and your indomitable commitment to our democracy. Take the opportunity to sign a large banner of the Declaration of Independence.

This will be the biggest national day of action in the lead up to this historic anniversary for our country and will be a unifying call for all who want America to reckon with and repair our history rather than erase it, celebrate how far we’ve come, make America a place where freedom and equality are for all.
