As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, we have an opportunity to reflect honestly on our history, celebrate our progress, and commit ourselves to building a future that works for everyone.

Some would prefer a simplified and incomplete telling of America's story—one that overlooks the struggles, contributions, and experiences of many who helped shape this country. We believe our history is strongest when it is told in full. By understanding both our triumphs and our shortcomings, we can continue the work of making liberty, equality, and opportunity accessible to all.

This national day of action is a call to come together in support of truth, democracy, freedom, and equal justice. It is an opportunity to honor our past without erasing it, celebrate how far we've come, and recognize the work that remains.
