Columbia Board Governance Reform: Alumni Organizing Meeting

Meeting Goals:

• Build a shared understanding of Columbia’s board governance structure, current reform efforts,

and trustee nomination pathways, including the role of the Alumni Trustee Nominating Committee

(ATNC).

• Develop a coordinated strategy to strengthen democratic participation, accountability, and alumni

engagement in board governance.

• Launch working groups and build a core alumni organizing team to advance research,

communications, outreach, and next-step campaign efforts.
