DSA Movie Night: American Agitators

General public and Non-DSA members encouraged to attend!

American Agitators captures the remarkable story of organizing for change in the U.S. through the work of Fred Ross Sr. and many others -- including Dolores Huerta and Fred Ross Jr. -- alongside current-day organizers who have devoted their lives to the pursuit of justice and equality. For over 50 years, Ross led a groundbreaking organizing approach that improved the lives of thousands and still reverberates in organizing strategies today. The documentary demonstrates the power of member-led movements built through personal contact, listening, methodical follow-up, and an understanding that there are no shortcuts.
