We’re excited to invite you to this year’s panel Brandworkers’ Amigas en la Lucha, where we will focus on the theme of Women in Labor Organizing…..

For the past two years, Brandworkers has hosted a panel series to highlight the challenges and opportunities immigrant and undocumented workers face in organizing.

Our first panel brought together experienced organizers to share practical strategies and programs workers could use. Last year’s panel explored what first-time labor organizing looks like across sectors, from higher education to street vendors, emphasizing shared challenges and opportunities.

This year’s panel theme is Women in Labor Organizing, focusing on the challenges and opportunities women face in the labor movement today. The panel will feature Ligia Guallpa from the Workers Justice Project, Cait Camelia from Hot Girls for Zohran, Hannah Lopez from the Earned Sick & Safe Time campaign, and AM Claire Valdez, hosted by Brandworkers Lead Organizer, Yolanda Santoni.
