Anatomy of a Crown

Like a person, a regime is made up of many separate parts all working in unison... with each part vulnerable to disruption which can bring the whole thing toppling down. In the spirit of "No Kings!", join us to uncover what, really, an authoritarian regime consists of and learn some critical cognitive strategies for resistance. Then, engage with others in a guided discussion to help uncover some ways in which you
can resist and begin disrupting the power of the crown, piece by piece.

Come on your own or bring some friends or family with whom to continue brainstorming and collaborating after the event is done!

Snacks will be provided. Adults and teens welcome!

The Tompkins County Public Library (TCPL) and the BorgWarner community room are accessible by ramp. An ADA-accessible restroom is available just outside the meeting room. Service animals are welcome in accordance with TCPL policy.
